Default Can a digital test give a false positive?

Well I have come off the pill and my cycle is all over the shop! Have been testing the last 3 weeks and had nothing but bfns. I am now day 36 of my cycle and have been impatiently waiting for af to arrive. So this morning just for laughs i used an ic. Just letting it sit there assuming another bfn. Look at it a few minutes later and there is a super faint line. But knowing my luck it would be an evap. But since the cheapy is a stick i still have my fmu in the little cup. I decided to use one of my digitals to make sure. Check it about 5 minutes later and it says pregnant 1-2 weeks! I am just in shock as i was sure I had missed out this month. Just wanting to hear some opinions on the clear blue digital? Could i have gotten my bfp?!?!?!

Congratulations! Sounds like you're pregnant. It's not possible to get a false positive as there needs to be a certain level of hcg in your system before it will even register.

Clear blue digital are pretty reliable. The actual time it tells you might not be true for everyone but if it says your pregnant your pregnant.

I'd say the chances of it being a false positive are slim to none. I think congratulations is in order
