Default Ovulation after coming off the pill

    Hi ladies

I stopped taking the pill on the 28th August.

Had my withdrawal bleed on the 1st Sep to the 4th Sep.

On the 11th Sep (CD 11) i had a few twinges on my RHS in from my hip. Also had EWCM.

On CD 12 i had heaps of EWCM and some of it was brown tinged and also had a red pin prick splotch in it with some red mucus.

It is now CD 14 and i still have EWCM.

    Is this normal?

We BD every other day over the past week so fingers crossed we caught the eggie.

Anyway, what i would like to know is, does it sound like i ovulated on CD 11, i am not temping or using OPK's as we are taking a very relaxed approach.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

    Thank you :-)

Its hard to say. Personally for me it took over 6 months for my first period after stopping the pill. I had plenty of what I thought was O pain and CM was all over the place. Sometimes it takes a while to regulate - sometimes its somewhat normal. I'd say unless you temp or use OPKs you don't know for sure.

It's been a while since I have TTC but from memory ewcm happens in the lead-up to ovulation and quickly disappears afterwards. I'd say you're still gearing up and haven't ovulated yet.
    Good luck!

Hi, I've also just come off the pill and ttc and so far ttc is the only acronym I can figure out lol. I just joined and new to the forum (or any forum!) so testing everything out and exploring hoping to advance my knowledge in ttc seeing as most my life I've avoided ttc! I've started tracking my cycle on an app. I've found it really interesting and useful. So I'd recommend that

Hey girls. I have come off the pill recently too (in July) this is probably a dum question but how do you know for sure if ovulation has returned??

I didn't have any spotting but did feel twinges around my right ovary and EWCM in my first cycle off the pill. I fell pregnant that cycle and now have a 2.5 year old, so keep BD-ing :-) good luck!
