    Default 20 week morphology scan

    Hi all,

I am just after some suggestions. I went for my 20 week morphology scan today and told the sonogropher that I would be interested in finding out bubs gender. When she came to that part she told me she was unsure because bubs legs were crossed over. She then could see two white lines and said she had a funny feeling it was a girl. I was left a bit disappointed as I really wanted to know hubs gender. What do you guys think? Does the two white lines suggest a girl or could it still turn out to be a boy?

    Girl is generally 3 lines.

Snap! Was just about to post that exact link!

If you're desperate to know and can afford it you could pay for a growth scan/fetal well-being scan down the track or a 4-D.

Thanks for the replies, I think I might book in for a gender scan when I am 24 weeks and hopefully I will know for sure then.

Do you have a private scan place nearby?
I have one that does 3D/4d scans and will do a gender determination one for $65.

I had my morphology scan last Monday and my baby's legs were crossed. I was itching to find out what we are having, but was more happier to find out that the baby is healthy. I also found out I have gestational diabetes again, and have a scan at 28 weeks to see how bubs is growing. Hopefully legs wont be crossed next time so we can see. I feel your frustration, but if your bubs was anything like mine, no secrets were being given. Maybe request another scan?
