Default Ivf miracles due may/june/july 2016

I did loose my appetite for a bit. And I was 5kgs down on my starting weight after 14 weeks of MS but now I've put that back on plus 2! All too soon for me! Today I said I was to start eating healthy after the fat festival that was xmas but 3 snack packets of chips and a half the packet of chocolate biscuits and now I'm ashamed! I've written out my list of 'allowed foods' for tomorrow and I'm just going to have to stick to it! 😩 God give me strength!

Great to hear from you girls and that scans and announcements went well!! X
Awesome grab on the capsule! Been looking for a 2nd hand one myself (as they aren't used for long) and I put my bugaboo pram on layby Boxing Day on a great sale

SH-I need to get my shiz together because I have serious concerns about getting GDM. I was adamant that today was going to be a good day yet I still managed a slice of banoffe cake (banana cake that tastes like carrrot cake with toffee) and a hot cross bun. Yip, I'm one of *those* people who loves that they go on sale on Boxing Day hehe.

@StillHopeful there is a Facebook page for bugaboo owners and they often have women selling compatible capsules as well as the adapters for bugs. Not sure if I can mention name but will try anyway it's called Bugaboo Australia Mummas.

I ordered my bug as well as capsule at the Boxing Day sales, as well as lots of other things 😳.

Still no real appetite for me averaging 2 meals a day and no snacks, I didn't even have dessert on Christmas Day!!!! I could do with dropping weight so no big deal and my ob is happy as long as bub keeps growing.

Thanks mummymaybe! I'm actually already part of that group (and many others haha!) I'm a little bit obsessed now! 😁 I used to say I'd never spend so much on a pram and think it was just fashionable but they really are amazing! Although I've def gone too far with the accessories lol!

Doing a little better today, omelette brekkie and some yoghurt. Craving tomato soup atm which is weird for me. Be nice to make some homemade so it's a bit healthier 😁

I had that attitude with my first pregnancy, didn't want to spend too much on a pram but ended up with 2 prams in the end, a safety first 3 wheel pram and a baby jogger city select which is true love lol, I got the second seat adapters and a maxi cosi capsule with adapters from baby bunting for $500 which is a total bargain seeing as the capsule alone usually costs $529. I now wish I bought the good pram from the start, i know we all want new stuff for our first bubs but i picked up the baby jogger city select from a local BSS group for $300! They retail for much more and this was in mint condition, i now have it ready to go as a double pram because my son will only be 19 months when this bubs born, i also pi ked up a timber cot in perfect condition for $200 and I will just buy a new mattress, you can really find good stuff if you look. 15 weeks today and have an OB appointment. Been getting a strange pain but listened to bibs on the doppler yesterday and all sounded good.

Had my scan on Tuesday, the bloke that did it was so rough! Didn't get any clear shots, and took forever which makes me think there is something wrong! So now I'm stressing out until I see my OB at 2pm today. I haven't slept since hubby got up for work at 3am this morning, have had a headache for 4days now also, then my SIL rang for my son to go in and cover her at work, he works for her was meant to have all week off except Sunday and so far has work 3 out of 4 days, so he cracked the cranks at me. He got his army confirmation yesterday so I've been a bit emotional from that, plus it is freaking hot (37 degrees yesterday) And we don't have aircon yet. Hubby has said I can get quotes today!
Don't want to go back to work on Monday as I know it will be so hot I won't be able to handle it and I always cry when I'm hot lol.
Plus my boss and I aren't getting along at the moment.

Sorry that was a massive whinge post! This is what I do when I'm stressed, I need to get it all out of my head, sorry! Still wouldn't change it for the world no matter how sick and tired I am.

Any thoughts on hypnobirthing? Not sure what antenatal class to do.

We had our morphology scan today and unfortunately it looks like our little boy has some significant cardiac issues. At this stage it looks like tetralogy of fallor but that will be confirmed tomorrow at a specialist cardiac scan.

Safe to say we are in total shock and not to sure what to do with ourselves.

Oh mummymaybe I'm so sorry to hear this. You're in Bne right? Where were you planning on delivering? Public/private? From my experience at work, high risk pregnancies are often referred to us (Mater) for NICU/SCN then transferred over to the new Lady Cilento Children's Cardiac Unit. An organization worth looking into is Heart Kids to find out what support is available for families. I hope that the scan tomorrow gives you sone positive news.

We also had our scan today. Everything looks OK with the exception of only one umbilical artery but I'm not to concerned about that. We have an envelope waiting to be opened to reveal the gender and will find it over the weekend.

Sending you hugs and positive vibes for your follow up scan mummymaybe.
We have to rescan on the 27th Jan due to not being able to get a clear shot of bubs heart on Tuesday, they have assured me nothing to stress over.

Gosh mummymaybe how incredibly sad and scary for you and your little Man I pray that your next scan reveals they were wrong but if not, that you, DH and your little one will get through this. We are lucky to have one of Australia's best in the Mater hospital, no matter what there is support and people to look after you. I cannot imagine the fear you are facing for your tiny little boy, so unfair after already facing the rollercoaster of IVF. Thinking of you hun xoxo
