Hope all you ladies are doing well.

Im 15 weeks tom and I'd really love to start feeling some movement soon. I've been having a few pokes and teeny flutters so im hoping in the next few weeks I can feel it more.

I've been medicated for high blood pressure since 10 weeks and saw my specialist today and looks like again I'll have to give up work early again. Am hoping to get through till end of Jan/early feb with some time off over Christmas. Most likely another early c section for me too.

No elective c section for me. DD was natural birth with gas so hoping I can do it again. I also had suction and episiotomy so it wasn't the most pleasant birth. Hoping I have a lot shorter labour too, she was 22.5 hours from the first contractions till birth, I was exhausted!! I think if went on too much longer I would have ended up c section as my OB had to get to dinner that night (true story!)

I'm still not feeling much movement, just flutters here and there. Will be glad when I feel it constantly, though I think at this point (17wks) I can relax a little and get excited about this baby!!

I haven't purchased anything or contemplated getting bubs room ready yet, has anyone else? We have to move DD into another room so will aim for that maybe February, before I get too huge. Bub will be in our room in the bassinet the first few months anyway. I have been eyeing off the new mountain buggy baby carrier. I had an ergo sport for DD but sold it as I never really liked it so will look at something else. I have a baby bjorn but that isn't great on my bad back.

Have another OB appt tomorrow just to check me over again after my breathlessness last week so hoping I see bub again!

    Hope everyone traveling well!

Clem I've felt little flicks from 10w but I'm still waiting for some decent movement. I had an anterior placenta last time and felt little kicks at 20w so was hoping for something earlier this time.

Sorry about the BP, is it something you have when you're not pregnant? Did you get PE? Do you have someone to help with your little one? I'm so worried about ending up on bed rest or in hospital early as we have no one in Brisbane to help with Dd.

I'm having trouble keeping my blood sugars up and in as little as an hour after eating they get low and I start feeling very unwell. My pelvic pain is really giving me grief so I need to book that blimmin physio I keep talking about. Not sure how I'll manage if I gain another 15kg. I intend to work until 37 weeks but not sure I'll manage

Hey guys, hope everyone is well! Xo
Just a quick update from me. Will do personals to tomorrow and scan pics.

Scan was great, baby moved away so they could get good face ones but they confirmed what they said at 13 weeks, it's a little Boy! So I'm very impressed xoxo

    That's great news @StillHopeful

16 weeks today for me! Picked up our little nuggets heartbeat really well on the doppler yesterday too. Happy with that, as it's no easy task with an anterior placenta & a bub that's always boogying in there!

DH's mum arrives tomorrow from overseas, so we'll be giving her a Christmas card "To Nanny" with our latest scan pic in there.
I can't hide this bump much longer lol.

The other parentals are being told on Christmas Day...it's easy to hide these secrets when using Skype to chat lol

Yay for confirmation of a boy Still hopeful!
Cal star I don't know how you have kept it a secret for so long! I would have gone crazy by now!
AFM I'm 17w3d today, and it's also my sons 17th birthday! So I have the day off work and we are heading to the beach.
I've had little movements for almost 2 weeks now just little flutters etc, but the last 2-3 days I've had bigger rolly kind of movements
My husband is super excited for a boy, I told him the OB said it looked like a boy but I was only 16w3d so best to wait until my 20wk scan after Xmas. But he has gone and told everyone anyway lol! Morning sickness has stopped, acid reflux has eased just at night now.
I plan on working up until I'm 38 wks, but the last 7weeks will just be office no coaching. I've had a really crappy time at work the last few weeks, have been in tears almost everyday, my boss has had a go at me about one thing or another, hubby just told me to quit, but we need the money and I want to make sure I get my mat leave, not sure if I will return after Bub comes though.
We have been throwing names around, we have middle names set, i think.

Congrats for a boy! That's wonderful

Im 15w2d and have an Ob appointment today, always dread scans i hope all is ok. Im pretty sure I've been getting a few swishes and flutters so I hope baby is growing and all ok. My kidney dr this week said my uterus feels about 20 weeks not 15 so I hope it's just that its popped out early! Another dr said that at 13 weeks too.

Gah morning sickness, still have it this morning. On and off now but still sooo yuk.

Hope all you girls are doing well!

Hi Ladies, had my NT scan on Wednesday, called my OB office yesterday for the results, they said all was fine, and I asked for the numbers, the first one she said was 1 in 879 which to me is pretty bad and tge other two were 1 in 20000, i dont know what one was tge 1 in 879 but my Nuchal fold was a little thick, it was 2.72mm and anything under 3mm is considered normal so I'm guessing the cappy number is from that, im sure it's all fine and im not worried, i trust my OB, the measured the nasal bone also which was good, apparently downs babies don't have nasal bones

Calstar what a lovely way to tell your MIL! And kudos for keeping it secret so long! X

Mumofjay I have been feeling kicks and rolls too! It's so reassuring and exciting! Especially having an anterior placenta so I felt like it was never going to happen! Yay for more boys! They are so precious! Hope your DS had a lovely Bday xx

CG gosh you poor thing. I had HG practically all the way through with my DS and DD but somehow am thanking every lucky star that I feel quite good the past month! I hope it eases for you soon! Sometimes I feel us IVF ladies get all the short straws! The trouble just getting our BFPS then the anxiety and then to have morning sickness chase us the whole way.... Gosh we better have a damn easy labours and everything after that too lol! But it's so worth it, the only thing you can hold onto is that even though you're so sick, you're growing your perfect, healthy Bub xx

Stillfuntryin what a gorgeous little person you are growing! Xx
