    I'm in the zone!
I will have another pile for Vinnies and another pile for the dump by the end of the week.

I bought that de-cluttering book sometime at the start of the year but haven't got around to reading it yet.

Ive placed a hold on that book at my local library thanks. I love books on organisation, minimalism etc. I would love to do it as a job
Yes...very doting! If only she would stick to buying stuff we need.

I had to wait 3 months to borrow it from the library...worth the wait! I found it easy to read too.

There's a few Konmari Facebook groups for those who are interested in Marie Kondo's method.

It can definitely be hard work but its worth it. I definitely spend less time cleaning now and am less stressed 😊

This is what I'm hoping to achieve. The konmari method actually says to do it over 6 months, so I guess that gives you time to work on each category when you get a chance. It's hard getting rid of stuff. I sorted some of ds' toys on the weekend and filled a box of ones I don't like. Not game to throw them though!

Following - have just put my name down at our library for the Marie Kondo book but I am number 48 on the list so I might be a while off reading it, I am planning on using Pinterest to give me inspiration in the mean time...

I love getting rid of stuff but DH not so much and it just seems to come back as fast as things go grrrr!

Less time cleaning sounds like my idea of bliss!

Now to get hubby and kids onboard!!!

I've been decluttering for quite a while but the real minimalism thing has been more recent. Now our possessions have decreased considerably I'm applying to everything. Our budget, meal planning etc. I'm definitely saving money because I really think before I purchase anything now. Do I really NEED this? Its make me realize how wasteful I was before.

You need to throw that box of toys NOW haha. Clothing and toys are probably what I've decluttered the most. Our girls actually play better now they have less toys. They were obviously overwhelmed beforehand because they used to just throw it all on the floor but not really play. Now when they do play they sit down and enjoy it. They play outside alot more now too.

I keep minimal toys in their toy room, mainly just big items like their dolls house, play kitchen, dolls and pram and all the smaller items are in containers labelled and in a cupboard up high so they have to ask for them, the girls can get one box or toy at a time to play with.I've packed a few out of sight to rotate too. Works so well!!
