    @mrsthomo

    On Saturday if AF hasn't arrived as that will be a day after it is due

    I've been having some quite sharp cramp pains tonight

    What about you? Will you test?

    I became an aunty yesterday for the first time. Felt amazing, ans I hope I can return the favour as well.

    Let me know if anyone else is looking to start a cycle mid Nov. I have no idea about specifics, despite a few friends going through IVF to conceive. I thought the less I read the more I can keep my head in the clouds and not stress on details. I am a horrific obsessive organiser and researcher, so less is more in my case. Happy to play dumb just to control my urge to know it all.

    Good luck to all the PUPO ladies

    Day 3 report from the lab. 23 of the 25 eggs were mature but they were all terrible quality and super fragile. She was amazed that 13 of them survived the ICSI procedure. Of those 1 arrested on day 1, 1 is 3 cells on day 3, 3 are >20% fragmentation and 8 are "good" quality (7-9 cell minimal fragmentation). Here's hoping they survive until Wed and I get some nice blastys for a dec/jan/march transfer (depending on when my cycle allows)

    Does anyone know what causes fragile eggs and what I could do to avoid it? I'd assume it's linked to my low e2 all through the cycle and the fact that half or more of the eggs appeared at the last moment.
    Can't help you with what causes fragile eggs... But even 8 is an awesome number to have xxx

    So I had my first intrapillid infusion today and first blood test to track ov... Will find out results tomorrow. Looks like husband will be home for FET which is ace (he works FIFO for us to afford treatment)

    Trying to be good, eat well, reduce my caffeine... We are pretty much throwing everything at this cycle, I had a uterus scratch week 3 last month, plus all my vitamins, folate, steroids... With our PGD normal embryo... Oh goodness I hope this is it!! I then get nervous and think eeek what if embie doesn't defrost ok 😬😬 but just have to stay positive there's no other choice now, it just has to be ok...
