Default IVF/ FET Oct Nov 2015

Had my transfer yesterday, was very nervous going in as we lost 2 embryos the day before and was pretified we would get there to find out no embryos left! Thankfully that wasn't the case and transfer was successfully done on the second attempt. Apparently embryo was "sticky" and stayed in the tube on the first attempt.

Good luck to everyone transferring today/this week

Hi all, I've had a tough 2WW. I had my eggs collected on 30 Sept and in my other cycles I've had at least 6, but this time 2. Then only one made it to transfer and it was the weakest embryo I've had yet.

I've been super emotional as I had thought I would just keep going until it worked, but having only 2 collected and having my FS say my best option now is donor eggs, I had to be honest with myself and came to the conclusion this was going to be my last attempt.

On the weekend though, I had bloods and HcG 6.3! This is the first time I've had any sign of pregnancy hormone ever. Today I tried a home pregnancy test and there is a very faint second line!!!
@Bris1977 I think I saw you mention acupuncture. I'm a huge fan of acupuncture and I would have done if for my previous rounds except I wasn't able to get to appointments due to work. This time, I found a clinic who does after hours appointments and although I couldn't get in for pre and post treatments, I did go to a lot of sessions before my round and I do think it has helped. My regular acupuncturist (who is amazing and therefore very hard to get into) swears it's the pre and post treatments that do the best work for IVF.

Hello everyone. I am new to this discussion board and this is my first post. Hope it's ok that I just jump right into the convo. I started by just reading through many posts and said that I wasn't going to sign up and post, but the more I read the more I felt like I could relate. It's nice to know that there are other people out there in a similar situation as me, because at home I feel very much alone with my infertility.

My hubby and I are starting our fourth FET transfer ( can't even believe it is our 4th) . Going in tomorrow for blood and ultrasound to check my lining as I have been on the vaginal estrace for a bit now. Hoping all is well and transfer will be on Friday.

Good luck to everyone going through checks, retrievals and transfers!
