Hi everyone I'm new to charting, have just started this month and still a bit unsure what I'm looking for

I've had a dip in temp (from 36.4ish most days, down to 36.17) today. What does a dip indicate??

I'm on CD12, and usually have a 32ish day cycle. No change in cm.

Can anyone tell me what this might mean?

And congrats @lauzie on your bfp!!!

Can you post a pic? It's easier to see what's going on that way.

    Thanks hun.

I did a bit of googling and apparently there's usually a dip before it rises, and when it rises is O...i think! So hopefully O will be in the next few days or so

@Frankenmum - I agree with @Mamasupial, that I don't think you O'd. There may on occasion be a dip, but it's the significant rise in temp, followed by consecutive high temps, that you're mainly looking for when it comes to confirming an O.

How long are your cycles normally?

Cycles are normally 32ish days, give or take a few days. The app says that I should O in 6 days on CD18. But as my cycles vary it could be anywhere from CD14 to CD22!

I just wasn't sure if a dip in temp was an indicator of anything, like a precursor to the higher temps that indicate O.

    Thanks
