Oh great! Thanks! And very appreciative of your warm words of encouragement! It's tough alright. Trying to keep positive and hopeful. I always fear there is something more wrong with me than what they have found but I'm trying to ignore that. Though if this one fails we are going to see a gyno and get some investigating done.
Can I ask what made you guys did ivf? For us, it was male fertility issue. DH has high antibodies and abnormal sperm. Apparently I had no issue. I tested for AMH, auto immune, karyomapping, etc
Chemical is when the embryo implanted and I tested positive but within days I lost it it wasn't far enough to be called miscarriage under medical term so it's called a chemical pregnancy. I think it's to describe any loss under 6 weeks.
I am very blessed. Whilst I went through a lot of heartache to get here, I'm not far off from cuddling my baby. All the tears, dark days and heartache are forgotten. I wish everyone can have the happy ending
Nawww that's beautiful. Yeah my husband has low sperm counts in all areas (morphology etc) and my egg counts were a bit low. Our current FS at repromed says if it keeps not working we may need to look at egg donation 😟
That's a tougher case @Apples1234 when both you and DH have difficulties. Let's hope you don't need donor eggs. Has your FS tried different meds or protocol? It might be worthwhile to see different FS before going down the donor egg path
We've got the top specialist in Adelaide. He's got my on medication for auto immune for this cycle. We left city fertility after the first two cycles and came to Dr Tremellen at Repromed because of a highly praised referral from a top gyno. I've got faith in him and this is our first cycle with him so we will see how it goes and what he thinks.
I'm a big believer in natural therapies and believe that what u eat greatly affects your body. I've recently quit gluten and sugar and I've also been reading this book that I know a lot of others have had success with. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1446465495.822052.jpg
So yeah I'll try western Meds first and if not go the healthier route
@Apples1234: another reading for you would be the "is your body baby friendly". A bible for ladies on the nk cell thread. It is mainly talking about recurrent miscarriages and auto immune problems.
I am not a good responder but always got one ready to be transferred blastocyst on day 5. All of my 3 blastocysts implanted. Unfortunately, 2 chemical pregnancies. Remember, you only need one.
