Congratulations to your husband and you Gelati.
Enjoy your newborn cuddles
Big congrats @Gelati!!!! Will await your birth story. Episotomy is better than tears (like mine)! Glad to hear that you don't have BF problem! You have a pretty good stigma. I was completely exhausted and passed out 3 hrs later post birth. Hahah...about the sleep. I thought the new born sleeps a lot........ Anyway, enjoy your new born cuddles.
@Gelati hooray!!! Big congrats to you and DH. Enjoy the cuddles. I can imagine the high with a newborn. Such exciting times. Awesome news about BF too x
Ps 3.9kg is a decent size baby.
@bbhope I'm feeling ok. Nausea seems to come back but at least I'm not throwing up. Just feel off every morning. Some days I feel better some days I feel more tired and stretched. Can't complain though. Home stretch. Having my 34 week scan in a week so I can't wait to see my baby.
Well night 2 is a completely different story's he sleep well until 7pm and now won't sleep. I've realised he is also cluster feeding so I breastfeed for 2-4 hrs at a time. I hope this will change but I also think he's using me as a pacifier. The bright side is I'm a breastfeeding pro just 1 day into this motherhood gig. But downside is dh can't soothe our baby at all. Hell if I didn't have boobs I couldn't either.
So here I am 3 hrs into breastfeeding him and hoping he will go to sleep so I can put him in his bassinet.
@Minib 34 week scan - yay!! Really not long to go now!!
Two having the Epi allowed me to relax and the drip made strong contractions which allowed bubs to turn. So glad I got the Epi. I had bad back labour for 5 hrs where all I could do was stand the whole time. I was exhausted by the end. Luckily the epi worked a charm and I didn't end up with a traumatic labour. The pushing part was hard for me as I had the Epi but it wore off by the end cos I was self administering and didn't press it for awhile towards the end. That helped me feel the pushing sensation. Def an advocate of the epi now. If you can't handle it go for it I say!
