Yeah the shorts are $180 each roughly. I bought my normal size pre pregnancy plus one size bigger so I can wear asap after birth.

Can get them from physio too not just the hospital.

Oh yeh that's what they recommend. Normal size plus one size bigger. Unfortunately i don't know what my normal size would be. My bottom half always varies so much depending on brand etc.

Had the whooping cough vaccination and for some reasons GP charged for it. Will need to go to Medicare and ask for rebate. I read on government website it's free for me and DH. I asked the receptionist why it's not free she said not sure.

@bbhope - Cabrini called it tubigrip but I also saw some at baby bunting today. Apparently you can also get from target. They are called shaping garments

@Minib - not sure why they charged you. That's really weird. It's free after a certain gestation right?

Yeah it's free after 28 weeks. I hope I can get my money back. I'll go to Medicare this week to find out.

Oh tubigrip. You can get that from physio. Only about $15. Does that work as well?

Well Cabrini said that's what they give you. The physio showed us, just an tube that is elastic that wraps around your belly. She said they are just as good but some people like the shorts as it holds the pads in place and gives extra support down there to hold undies in place. But for the belly the tubigrip is enough.

Both may be difficult to wear if you have a c section. Scar area may hurt.

Yah I was thinking if c section the scar might hurt. The midwife told us to buy higher undies not bikini basically because it tends to hurt the c section scar. I checked bonds maternity undies, they are all hipster bikini style anyway.

Some women wear tubigrip during pregnancy too. It's to support the back. I asked my OB about it as my tummy is quite big and low. He said unless I have pubic bones pain he doesn't want me to. He said if I wear a tube now, it means my lower back muscle will get lazier. He told me to exercise more instead.
