As for scratch, I did it twice. The first was for nk cell testing so it has nothing to with transfer. I didn't do with my FS. I could have proceeded the transfer the next month but decided against it as I wanted to find out problem (if any) before using our last embryo. That's under GA because I was doing other procedures as well. I did another one just for the FET. I was under sedation. They knocked me out. I again didn't do it with my FS. I did it locally in Perth. Bfn. For my last cycle, my FS didn't think it was worth it unless I happened to be in Syd the month before. The study suggests that the best time to do the scratch is just before AF. So the traditional 21 days might not be as effective. Thinking back, that's kinda true because I ovulated late that month. The scratch was done just 2 days post O rather than 7 days. It doesn't seem to have a solid time frame of when is best to do it. More like a wild guess. Yes, with my current pregnancy, no scratch. If you want to do everything you can, for a peace of mind, then I would say go for it.

I don't remember your immune protocol exactly. For mine, intralipid 7--10 days prior transfer. Starting pred at the very beginning of the cycle. From 10 to 20mg. I have to look it up the timing of you are interested. Clexane 40mg after transfer. If bfp, do intralipid ASAP. Then, it depends on dr, they have different protocol on how often. 20w was my last dose. I didn't want to go overboard with pred. I know some ladies take even higher dose but that's what recommended for my protocol and with the side effects, I am glad that I stayed in the lower dose. Actually, 20mg is already quite high. OB was quite shocked about it.
@Minib @Gelati: sounded like you ladies had a good Saturday. On the positive side, I can finally eat cereal without having super high glucose level. I tried that yesterday morning. Higher than normal but I would say it is within the error bar.
Thanks @bbhope... So I might touch base with FN see what she says and if I can try and do scratch next fortnight that would be ideal... I'm currently CD10... And also ask about the intrapillids

With my fresh cycle I was on 10mg pred and 60mg clexane from CD2... Then i started taking 20mg pred after transfer.... It was pretty similar with FET from memory.

Thanks again for listening and helping xx

I really admire your positive attitude and that DH is making the most out of it through further study etc. Sometimes the hardest thing is maintaining a positive attitude but it can be what makes the difference. I really hope you get your BFP very soon so hubby can be back where he belongs

Yes wedding photographers can be soo exy! @Minib - we ended having to use the really expensive one cos all the cheaper ones that had good reviews (based on recommendations etc) were all booked out! So we ended up going with a really good one that charged us $7k and then another $4k for the album! needless to say we haven't got the album yet. Can you believe it?? Makes me angry everytime i think about it. the photos turned out lovely but still!! rip off!!

I've never done a scratch. I did have a polypectomy so wonder if that sort of did the same thing. Although i got my bfp 3-4 months after i had that done so the effects probably wore off after that. I didn't do accupuncture as i am super scared of needles and i think it would have stressed me out more doing the accupuncture before/after FET. I think do whatever feels right for you. I think if i hadn't gotten my bfp that cycle i may have looked into accupuncture.
Yea it's hard, and I feel I've hit a little rock bottom trying to process everything (having legal issues with a previous "doctor") so trying to be kind to myself.... Such a balance and I said to my husband sometimes I feel like we're at a casino... Do we put it all on red or black? 😝

Oh wow... 4K for an album you haven't got back yet? I hate to ask how long it's been... I could never do that to my clients

Acupuncture doesn't hurt if you have the right person it really is relaxing but I understand the fear of needles

    Thank you lovely xx

All I remember was that her last scan (33 or 34w) shown bub engaged and I was like that's early and there she went to have the bub.

I don't know how much we spent on the wedding shot in the end. My parents arranged it all back home. We just gave them some cash. That's the wedding for them rather than for us. We just had two receptions with friends at where we lived in the end. I made a photo book out of all these events in the end.

All I know is that the photographer back home charged us quite a lot but he didn't even do a good job. Only few good ones for the entire wedding. He supposed to give us an album but in the end just dumped the print outs without editing them. My parents weren't impressed and my friend actually cancelled on him after knowing our experience. On the other hand, our video guy did quite a good job. He got less paid but got few of my friends business.

My friend does wedding shot on the side in Melbourne. Not sure about his price but he is good. I should have hired him instead and I am sure that he would enjoy a trip back home visiting family. Anyway, @Tanej78 it is good that to have a profession that's your hobby and job. Enjoy the time with hubby!
@bbhope man that's why I try and go above and beyond... I want my bookings to be referrals people who know my work and love what I do... But I guess it's like any industry there's always going to be the $$$$ ones, the dodgy ones then the peeps like me in the middle just trying to do the right thing lol

@Tanej78 - it really does feel like that doesn't it? Just a numbers game. But with each cycle you do you are closer to getting a BFP as a good FS can rule out what issues there are or what works well with your body. But i know that it does feel like you are just taking a random shot sometimes.
Oh no i haven't actually paid for the album yet. so each page has been designed but until i pay they won't do any touch ups and make the album. It's just too expensive. With ivf and other things there have jsut been better things to spend on than an album. So we just ordered some photos and put them up in frames for now lol. Good to hear you are so dedicated with your photography. Word of mouth and referrals is the best way to success
@bbhope - i have had less BH lately too. Still get it daily but when i was sitting at work i felt like i was getting them all the time! Wonder why they have tapered off lately. Oh yeh it's weird isn't it. For me it's when i sleep on my side and wake up. I can literally feel bubs spine and butt all on the one side and the other side of my belly feels empty!

I had mild cramping last night. It didn't feel like BH and indigestion either. It went away after a while. Also, feeling a lot of sharp pain on my cervix lately. Same feeling i have with bub. I find it so funny that they like to pick side but it makes sense given the placenta position. Gosh....2 more days. I can't wait to finish off work.

you're almost there! i have 3 more days of work. Sharp pain in your cervix can sometimes mean you have started dilating, your OB can check for you. I read online that cramps and pain in cervix could be early labour. But you need to check with your OB cos it might not be either.

I don't think bub has engaged yet. Just don't feel like he is yet but i will find out on wed.

Make sure you start getting towels ready in case your water breaks. Put some in the car and around you bed. My mum made one with a big beach towel and sewed on a soft plastic sheet underneath and we've put that under my bed sheet in case my water breaks while i'm sleeping.

Oh dear. I didn't think about the water breaking either. I just thought most ppl have it broke in a more convenient place like loo or in the shower.

Not seeing OB until fri. My glucose went a bit crazy this morning. I don't know why. Grrrr...... He isn't going to be happy about it. Insulin supposes to do it things. I was warned that GD is harder to control later in pregnancy but it was working over the weekend! Anyway, will see what happen for dinner.

Ya, that's what I read as well -- re cervix pain and cramping. It comes and goes. I am super tired today. Got some sleep but still. So over work now. Hang in there....

Yes the placenta looks huge but it depends on the person?!

haha bbhope i think it actually happens in the most inconvenient places (unless of course you are being induced).

oh wonder why it went crazy. What did you eat?

really? i thot they were all huge. A big placenta is a healthy placenta?

Wow only 2-3 days of work left for you guys. So jealous.
I don't even know what BH feels like. I haven't read up much on things as I don't want to scare myself in case I'm not textbook pregnancy.
I am feeling tired more easily now. I could do with a nap in the arvo haha and not even 30 weeks yet @bbhope definitely put towel in the car, couch and bed. In case your water broke.
