    Default Book for angel baby

    Hi all
My friends angel babies first birthday is coming up. I want to send her a card with a nice children's book but I'm not sure what book to get (she has a toddler so would already have a lot of the "popular" kids books)
And is this even An appropriate gift or thing to do??
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I have no book ideas (perhaps something with angels in it?) but I think it's a lovely gesture. Your friends will be grieving and celebrating the birthday and I'm sure they'll feel very special to know that you've remembered and are thinking of them.

I think it is a lovely idea. If I was in the same situation, it would bring me some comfort and happiness to know that my baby was being remembered and celebrated by others.

I'm not sure about book ideas either. I tend to be one of those people who looks through a store until something jumps out at them, in terms of books anyway. I do know that last time I was looking for books for a christening present, there were a lot of really beautiful books around.

Perhaps if you can't figure out what book to get, you could look at something like those Willow Tree figurines?

After we lost our little boy, we were given the book "Guess how much I love you?". It was intended for our girls, but I have it tucked away as a special memory of our little man. (Our girls were given another copy by someone else at a later date.)
I think it is wonderful that you are remembering and celebrating your friend's lost little one.

Just another idea for a book -- PP's have suggested books about Angels. I know of a book called "Baby Angels" by Jane *****-Fletcher. It is an older book but very beautiful and designed for little people. It's about Baby Angels watching over a little person as he/she (can't remember which) goes about his/her day.
