Default Present for a 3 year old!

Help! My littlest DS is about to turn 3. He really wants for nothing and I am stuck for ideas!

He is super busy, very happy, rarely plays with 'toys' as in he has superhero figures, cars, Lego. Pretty standard stuff. The kids don't have a lot of toys as they just don't play with them. He has a bike and we thought we might get them rc cars for Christmas.

I just haven't found his currency (apart from lollipops!). Ideas? Throw them at me!

Ps, this posting thing is new to me, patience if I don't respond straight away 😉

Thanks @Tinkers he is very fickle about dressing up. Definitely a 'sometimes thing' for this bloke! It's on my list as a filler, I'm just looking for that 'thing' I just don't know what it is 😁

My eldest is the same. The best things we have got him is a gardening kit, and an outdoor playset (this is an expensive idea). He uses the playset all of the time so as a cost per use it's probably his cheapest toy.
Art and craft stuff go down quite well. I've stopped getting him much as he is happy just to unwrap presents!

Kinetic Sand. Brilliant stuff. We put it in a large box and it's an indoor sandpit. Easy to clean up too.

Do you have a pool, or go swimming often? Perhaps some pool toys/swimming aids would be fun?

    Other suggestions:

    Skateboard
Fish tank set up with pet fish
    Easel and art supplies
    Toy kitchen & play food
    Furby

Thank you everyone for the responses!

Now this is going to sound bad, but he already has a lot of that stuff. Eek!! It's because he has an older brother and, well.... Makes them sound pretty spoiled!

I just don't know what I'm looking for, but I want him to say wow. Only like a 3 year old (who hasn't yet started saying I want) can be. Innocent. He is so sweet, all he wants is cake. I'd love to thrill him on his birthday.

It doesn't need to be expensive either.

    I'm sounding difficult now!

Have you heard of the 'Lost My Name' books? It's a personalised story about a boy or girl searching for the letters of their name, it's a nice book & little kids love stuff that's about them/has their name in it! I got my 3 yo nephew one for his birthday this year
