No more gushes that soak pads, but I still have bleeding, constant trickle (will soak a pad in a day). Still no other issues. 3 weeks yesterday so I'll contact oby next week if it's still occurring

So the week after this post I was still having bleeding but only when I wiped, then for a few days nothing. I've had bleeding again since Friday. My 6 week check is still another week away ( couldn't get in this week I left booking to late) but bubs is tomorrow. I'm thinking of asking for a referral for a scan

Is your bowel and bladder function normal. Constipation or an over full bladder can have and effect. X

How many weeks pp are you now?

When I had ds my impression was up to 6 weeks of bleeding (not heavy) was normal.

I also bled for almost 6 weeks. But mine was somewhat consistent. The stop start you are experiencing would worry me a little. Any clots or anything?

    Any chance AF is back?

I was 6 weeks yesterday. Looking back it was only a few days of no blood so I don't think the gap was long enough to be AF starting. it did cross my mind but it's still bright red, normally with AF the colour would have changed by now.

I emailed my oby and he said bleeding is still normal up to 8 weeks after and we will check everything over at my check up ( next week as I left it late to book) I think because I haven't had symptoms associated with potential left over product causing infection that it's just a wait and see if it's just normal pp bleed or something else.

I'll keep you posted with updates as someone else may find it helpful.
