I've got a 3 1/2 yo, a nearly 2yo and a 4mo and often find myself asking rhetorical questions that I *think* I would like my older ones to be able to answer (but probably not really!!) but that I would never really ask like:
HOW can you be so happy over producing something that would make a maggot gag? Why do I have to come and inspect it every time??
How and why is it that you know to the second when the baby has gone to sleep and decide to scream right then?
How can you know down to the last pea the differences between your dinner plates? Also, why is your brother/sisters always better?
Where (oh please where) do you get your energy from (and may I have some!!)???
How the hell do you manage to be so cute and is it a survival mechanism lol.
What questions would you have for your kids??
