    Default What is this 'rash'

    This rash is on DSs right hand. He's 11 months old

    I'm definitely no expert, but that looks like the hives DD got when she was 4mo from DH letting her suck on a piece of tomato before she was ready for solids. Has he touched anything new?

    He hasn't eaten anything new. Not sure if he touched anything.

    Individually they look like mozzie bites but it's odd that there are so many and they're all in the one spot.

    Just hoping they're nothing sinister.

    Looks like a mozzie just went a bit crazy on his hand Poor little guy, hopefully it doesn't bother him.

    looks like mozzie bites. hives spread quickly don't they? with my kids they have and their skin turns very red.

    Maybe mozzies are abke to bite little ones more because they can't swat them away yet? I reckon just keep an eye on them.

    Looks like a reaction of some kind, eg hives to a food etc, or some kind of bug-mozzies, fleas, sandflies, caterpillars.

    If it's hives they will spread fast. You will see the patch grow up the arm in an hour.
