    Default TV adverts.

OK I'm doing it!!! I have to.
You know that episode of Friends when Chandler wasn't allowed it make jokes?
That's how I feel when I see a bad advert. I'm bursting with a rant (not a joke) and feel like I'm holding it all in.
So, my apologies for this self-indulgence because I have the feeling this might be a one-woman thread.

Two recent adverts to start off with. Not so much a vent as a curiosity.

First one up, the Sofy ad.
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xKdN3G4VyoM

"Because it feels like I sat on a jam donut"

    Is that an Aussie thing?

Second one, the current Aldi ads.
I can't find a video but it's the one where this blonde woman is being converted to Aldi-ism by her friend. Her hair though.
Is that woman's fringe FOR REAL?
    She looks like a mop!

I had one of the cleaning product adds. I have forgot the name. He says something along the lines of "we all make mistakes, that's how the kids got here." I don't know why it makes me all ragey but it does.

I find the jam donut one such a gross thought and I've never heard that saying! It also annoys me that the period girl is chubbier, you might bloat but you don't go up 3 dress sizes just because you have your period. It should be the same girl but with no make up and scruffy hair in trackies and her boyfriend / partners old shirt. That's how a period feels, not just a chubbier version of your well presented self.

OMG yes, the jam donut & that chick's fringe, I totally get what you mean.

i can't stand the ad for Wallet Wizard where the guy "accidentally laminates the cat". I'd be calling the RSPCA if that was my DH.

Oh and those "it's a Mitsi ads, should t it be "it's a Mitsu"?.

Yeah, I giggled the first time I saw it because I couldn't believe my ears.
    Jam donut? Nope!
But then not being from here I thought, Ah OK, maybe it's an Aussie thing.

The ad in itself is funny but I dont think it's representative of that time of the month, close though. I'm not completely knocking it.

    Ohhh yes!
    Wallet Wizard!

My my pet hate of tv ads is the My Budget ads.
Why, why, WHY choose a woman that sounds like a CHILD to convince you to hand over all your financial information in the hope that she knows what she's doing.

Haha, I never noticed the girl in the yellow dress, what an over actor alright.

And that voice, I'm with ya.

About voices, the lady in the Napisan ad at 20secs makes me cringe, not sure why, just when she says "just spray & brush" annoys me LOL
