    Default OBGYN reccomendation for Perth

    Hey guys!!
I'm needing to book in with an Obstetrician asap, I was wanting to book Dr Melissa O'neill but she is on leave when I am due.
I am now looking at Dr Helen Clarke and wondering if anyone has been with her before or can recommend another Obstetrician?

Just thought it might be helpful if we knew if you:

    Are you north or south?
Do you have a hospital preference?

If you're looking at SJOG Subi, I can highly recommend Dr Richard Murphy. He's a lovely guy and a great OB. (He delivered DS1 in 2013 and DS2 a few weeks ago). I like his approachable, friendly style.

I live South but hoping for either SJOG subi or mt Lawley.

I'm a first timer and It's actually quite hard deciding

I can recommend Seonaid Mulroy, she's just lovely. Have also heard very good things about Glenn Lewis, Mike Aitkin and Bruce Thyer (I think the first two are at both hospitals, Dr Aitkin is at Subi, Dr Thyer is at Mt Lawley).

She was my friend's OB & dealt with a really delicate situation with great kindness, so I'm sure she will be wonderful.

Hi There Sparkle18! Just saw this as I was doing ob search! congrats on your pregnancy!!
I went with Helen Clarke and she is really great. We are thinking of having another in 18mths or so and I heard she may be retiring soon?? (could be complete wrong info as was from friend of friend!!) but if she is your ob now, I guess not too soon? do you know if this is true? I just want to know so I can start looking at other obs if need to lol!! I like to know in advance haha but really hope she is still available in 1-2yrs!!
