Default How many weeks am I?

    I am due 5 March 2016.

I just had my booking appointment and I am now totally confused.

By my app and every internet site I move up a week each Saturday.

But the Midwife says I move up a week on the wednesday.

This is causing me issues due to me thinking i have booked into my downs scan during 12 weeks but she says I will be 13 weeks for the scan.

    Can anyone clarify??

I'd say going by your due date that your tick over day is indeed Saturday and you will be 13 weeks on Saturday.

Your due date is a Saturday, therefor rock over day is a Saturday.

yeah this confuses me too. I thought each week was done with reference to your lmp date. so I'd been adding on a week each Monday that passed (as my lmp was 25th may which was a Monday). yet my pregnancy app and at my scan last week, I was 13 weeks on Saturday. happy to run with their dates but it's just confused me!

Possibly she is going by the due date calculated on one of your scans rather than you LNMP. Can you check your scans to see?

I was only 2 days out. I thought I was 12+4 on Friday but she said I was 12+6. I can live with that 😛

I did my harmony test for Down's syndrome at 10 weeks.
Monash ultrasound calculated my days wrong (even though I told them how many weeks and days I was - IVF baby) it was so frustrating I had to go back following week!!!!

may I ask what prompted you to have the harmony test? I just had it find yesterday but that was because I came back high risk for t21 after my NT scan. stupid blood work threw it all out.

Thanks ladies. I feel better now.

By my period the 3rd is the due date but my dating scan put me at the 5th verbally.

But they made an error and said im due the 3rd.

But it clearly shows on the paperwork i estimated on the day i was 6 week 1 day but the scan said i was 5 week 6 days.

Yet they didnt change the due date on the paperwork.

It was such a head f*@k in my booking appointment because of it and she kept using her wheel and stuffing up. Well she said she was right but it just wasnt adding up.

It was mainly because of my age - 38 (almost 39) and several miscarriages.
Also peace of mind after 3 years of IVF
