Perfect timing for me as I plan on getting my butt into gear as of tomorrow (monday). My last baby is now 14 months old and I'm still 10kg heavier than I was when I fell pregnant with him.

    SW - 74kg
    GW - 64KG

I'm aiming to lose 5-8kg during the challenge but as I will be exercising I will hopefully be putting on muscle. So my focus will mostly be on the centre meters.

    Oh I'll join in

Although I didn't do the winter challenge, I've been losing weight with diet alone (slowly and steadily) but I really want to tone it all up now.

I promised myself by September 1st (but really Aug 31st because I have to start on a Monday) that I'd start exercising.
This means REALLY trying to make time for it. I have two kids under foot all day long and then one in school. It will be a challenge but there's a whiff of Spring in the air already and I really want to be back in my pre-pregnancy clothes by December, if possible

I'm aiming for squats and a half hour walk a day to begin with.
I have a treadmill under a mountain of clothes and dust somewhere, I just have to see if it's still working because actually getting out to walk with two kids isn't going to happen.

    Best of luck everyone

Default 8 week Spring Weight Loss Challenge

    SW: 66kg
    CW: 63.8kg

GW: 60kg as a start but see where I end up if I just keep plodding away at it.

I'm starting a new job next Monday so I want to use that as a trigger for incorporating exercise into my commute. We live very close to the CBD, and DS's childcare is roughly halfway so my plan is to use CityCycle (free for rides under 30 minutes) to get from CBD to his centre (approx 10-15 minutes; there's a cycle station across from CC) then pop him in the pram and walk the remaining distance home (approx 15-20 minutes). We may swing by the park on the way home too, which would add a bit more distance.

Before DS, I used to walk/cycle to/from work so this isn't that much of a mental stretch for me to contemplate. Our new house is only another 1.2km further out so very doable.

Hoping I can drop a bit once I start exercising, which will have to be soon, because I'm hoping to do the 6km walk in the City to Bay in Adelaide in just under 4 weeks time.

Dropped 0.8kg in the last week. Not as much as I wanted, but at least I'm heading in the right direction.

Had my gym bag packed already for a lunchtime session today. Instead I'm home from work with a vomiting DD.

    CW 82 kg
    GW1 78 kg
    GW2 74 kg
    End GW 70kg

I've started doing swim squad twice a week (7am!) and am swimming 2-2.5km each time so I'm hoping that will help! At the moment though my weight is going up fractionally not down I am hoping it's muscle as I'm definitely getting fitter and coping better with the training.

I'll join, I'm in the worst shape I've ever been in. I've just started to get back into some exercise.

    SW: 110
    End GW: 100

I'm hoping to get back to where I was pre-last year, and after that work towards a healthier weight range.
