Default Should Ashley Madison Cheaters be exposed?

Let's just think about this example.

Think about some of the deeply personal things people share on Bubhub. About how they hate being a parent some days, how their marriage is hard, parenting is hard etc. some of these feelings would be and probably are morally offensive to other people. So say someone exposed all of our identities and we knew who everyone was and could identify people. And your husband read your posts about how you feel some days?

    How would you feel?

If it wasn't a consensual decision and my husband was cheating behind my back, of course I would be angry with my husband for choosing to cheat but I would also be incredibly angry that some holier than thou hackers took the control completely out of my hands in how I decide friends and family find out, if at all.
Point taken, however in all the scenarios of why somebody could be joining these sites ( let's face it most of them to cheat behind their partners back) they will now have to take into consideration they may be exposed by hackers. Knowing that, going forward, hopefully the vast majority of the members of these gross sites will now be leaving in droves.

I'm not defending the hackers, it was wrong, just the fact that the person doing the sneaky cheat could have been exposed in a number of ways anyway and that person still did it.

Have any of you stopped to consider the type of people that now have access to private information of potentially newly single women with children? I mean really, grow up. This is more than just a cheating scam. Jesus.

How do you get to that conclusion given most of the addresses are fake?

...Technicality that doesn't really matter in this day and age. Nowdays you don't *really* require grounds for divorce. Changed your mind? Irreconcilable differences. Partner farts in bed? Irreconcilable differences. You go on Ashley Madison to cheat on your wife/husband? You're an ******** and ... Whatever the technical clause if your spouse wants to divorce you a divorce will be granted.

I have zero thoughts on a website like AM as it's none of my business what other people do in their married lives, but what these hackers did was illegal and wrong.

To my mind it's no different from hacking into people's private accounts and publishing naked photos they have taken.

You may not like sites like AM but to dress up what these hackers did with some sort of morality, or to say the members deserve this to happen, leaves me frankly quite shocked.
