They actually ran this ad once.
What do I think?
Yes, what they have done is illegal, however I think of the families that are affected and in the end they are better off finding out and avoiding contracting STDs from their unfaithful partners and being treated like they are. I do feel that personally contacting the families would have been a better way to deal with it so that the families could have some privacy though. I know I'd feel betrayed, humiliated and worthless if my DH ever did something like that and would want to deal with it on a more private level even though those close to us would probably end up knowing.
I have mixed feelings on this.
Whilst I think that hackers are abhorrent pieces of work, the people using this website are also lacking in morals and engaging in deceitful behaviour.
If you sign up to a website with the specific intention of having an extra-marital affair, there is a risk of getting caught out. It's a massive gamble, and the chances of getting busted are reasonable regardless of the hacking.
I don't sympathise with the people who will be exposed, but I feel for the innocent parties who will have their lives turned upside down. Then again, if my DH was using this site, I'd rather know than be blissfully unaware.
