I'm heaps ****ed off because our childcare isn't doing book week because it's Montessori? Um ok? Yet the worker told me that last year they did it. Hmmmmm.

Well, I've been called into work today so this will be the most rushed and pieced together costumes ever!

Batman is most definitely a book. I give it my librarian stamp of approval if anyone gives you grief tell them there are more books about Batman than almost any other character!

My DS is obsessed in all the superheroes yet has never seen any superhero movies but has every book imaginable on each one, including a superhero encyclopaedia!

Just found out yesterday as we were all on our way to Perth that our kids are having a book week parade on Friday. We won't get home until Thursday late afternoon and the costumes MUST use only things we already have at home. Awesome!
DD has decided she wants to be Thing 1 and DS wants to be The Man In Black from The Princess Bride.

Batman was a complete success. Made ds very happy. Apparently there were at least 4 other superheroes!

Next year I will be more organised!

The contingency plan of Thing 1 and Thing 2.
My boys were a bit upset when they got to school and saw two grade six girls in the same costumes, but I told them they weren't identical and they seemed happy enough with that!
