We went to cotton on kids today and got a ballet style dress. Dd wants to go as Nina Rose from Nina Rose and her Dancing Prince. I'm not sure that many kids will know the character but she is decided.

I was thinking a giant peach (Roald Dahl) or the pumpkin from Cinderella, but they might be hard to teach in.
What about a bear onesie and you could be Winnie the Pooh?

Today I hate hate hate book character day.
Ds2 has been on a count down for the last 30 days. He woke me at 3, 3.15, 3.30, 3.45, 350, 355, 4.00, 410 etc.... to discuss the fine details of his costume to make sure it was exact copy of the blinking book. If I could burn the dam thing I would. OMG anyone got any toothpicks for my eyes. I have so much to do today

You could go as the bad tempered lady bug. Just a red shirt and black dots on the back with a head band with antennae :-)

Book week is on Friday at my girls school. DD1 is going as Harry Potter, DD2 is going as a vampire from 'the very thirsty vampire' book, DD3 is going as where's Wally. I'm sure DD4 will dress up for the fun of it just to drop the girls off so she'll be Tinker Bell or one of the many costumes I have here.

Dd1 is going as little red riding hood
    Dd2 - Wilbur from charlottes web .

We are aiming to make it with things at home a not spend any money. So we will see how that goes. I'm thinking of cutting up on old red dress for the hood

Ds wants to go as Zac Power. Suits me fine as the costume is super easy!
