Hi lovehopefaith - I have been following this blog called 'Texas Tales' about a girl named Amber and she had quads back in 2012.

She was very detailed about the pregnancy, birth and coming home in the early days and the posts are still there. Might be a thought for you. I know 4 is not 5 but higher multiples at least.

Wow!! Firstly congrats and best of luck for the pregnancy. I'm really in two minds about the reducing. I would wait it out as long as possible to make the decision though thats for sure.

Hope your doing ok xxx..... and would love a bump pic 😉

OMG how amazing!!!! Gosh you must have been in shock...still.

Reduction... I have no advice as we can all offer our opinion but it is not until we are in such a specific situation ourselves that we can have that true clarity and understanding.

Whatever decision you make I wish you and your family all the very best....will be watching.

First of all- wow!! And congrats! U must be in shock still!
In regards to reduction- hopefully you will have a "natural" reduction. My friend was pregnant with twins and natural reduced to two. She was secretly relieved as triplets would have been a very high risk pregnancy. it Would be so hard to reduce- how do they decide which bubs to "reduce"?
Hopefully your doctor can put your mind at ease and answer all your questions! Good luck with it all! Wow x

I would reduce only because I wouldn't imagine 5 healthy babies coming through the end of the pregnancy also how my body would cope carrying 5 babies to term. Also having 3 other children knowing 5 more to come would be a huge strain.

Although in saying it, I'd probably do something different or have no idea if I was faced with it...

I guess some babies might drop off naturally also most likely.

    Hope you are going ok?

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. But for me I would reduce to 2. As heartbreaking as it would be it would be my choice and a choice I would make for many reasons. One has to be sensible and think things through.
