Wow what a great idea the fb group....cos omg the best advise i ever got for.my twins was from fellow twin mummas...although i was shy and made a fake fb account...lol... great idea ladies 😊
P.s. my twins are born in 2015 so i dont qualify for the group.
Have requested also - sort of thought the year was just the date rather than when bubs born? Mine were in Nov 2015......
Has anyone here ever had a velamentous cord insertion with one of your twins?
My twin A has this and my OB hasn't made a fuss about it given I'll have a C/S, but after reading more into this I'm now really quite anxious/petrified knowing what the risks are should I go into early labour, especially if vessels are near cervix (currently 28 weeks). It has actually really scared me and now it will be at the top of my list to discuss with OB next week.

Hi Baby245, I didn't but you should search MoDi Twins on Facebook and join that group. There is a wealth of info on there, and I'm sure others who have been in your situation who can help you. My experience relates to TTTS, and all I can say is if you have questions or aren't feeling 100% about what your ob is saying get a second opinion ASAP. Do you have an MFM (maternal fetal medicine) Dr? They are the experts, if you don't have one get a referral. Good luck x
Hi Katiana and crabby. I think you've already requested the group? , but feel free. The 2016 was a DIG (due in group) but we could surely benefit from each other's support if yours are 2015 😉
Baby245- Both of my twins had Velamentous Cord Insertion and they also thought one baby had Vasa Previa. The VCI on its own is usually nothing to worry about its the VP that is dangerous. I live rural so from 26weeks I had to move 3hrs away from home to be close to a major hospital.
Musicalgal . Ive requested to join. Im Kati Ana on fb . 😆😆😆😆
