Hi everyone, I've been waiting a while to join this thread as I didn't feel I could until everything was still okay at 12 weeks. Well I had my scan this morning and it was great. Twin 1 was measuring 12w2d, HB 161. Twin 2 was 12w0d (which is the exact gestational age today), HB 160. These babies are a result of donor embryos from the Czech Republic, and were PGS tested, so I already knew they were okay re: trisomies etc. But I was very anxious to make sure they were still growing and still okay. EDD is 08/12/16, but obviously they will be born in November or earlier.

We have a 2yo DS already. I asked the sonographer what she thought re: gender, and she said if she had to guess she would say these two are both girls, but obviously there's a huge margin for error this early on. I've always had boy/girl feelings, so it will be very interesting to see. Hoping to find out with more certainty at my next ob appt on June 20th.

Hi @Sariele! I read on the net that one indicator of sex is the heartbeat. As your bubs are both high, I'm going with 2 girls...

Mine were one high and one low, so I'm thinking boy/girl for me. My mum looked at the scan pics and immediately said boy/girl... don't know how she can see that from a 7 week scan!! ...but i guess we will soon find out if she is right!

Hi @JulieMalooley! Hope you are all recovering well. Sorry to hear of the complications/hysto. It must be a shock. Take care.

Julie! Thank goodness you are OK. What a shock. It would all seem so surreal atm. New babies are enough. ..let alone twins and dealing with a hyster too.

Sariele...welcome! I know you from another thread. ..

Welcome to all the newbies. Can't wait to hear all your stories.

My twins are 7 weeks now. I can barely remember the past few weeks! In the lead up to the birth i was hospitalized for PE , after the birth (37 weeks) I got a uterus infection so back to hospital and anti biotics which affected the bubs tummies, then after a further 2 weeks of screaming, unsettled twins, suspected and diagnosed baby reflux. They're on medication for it now and there's been slight improvement, but i can't settle them after a feed like i did with DS1. However. ..they did sleep 10pm til 4am last night! Hallelujah brother! Finally! Until now it's been 2 or 3 hourly wake ups. I think we're on the up and up! Looking forward to sobe semblance of normality. ๐Ÿ˜จ

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you dont mind me joining this thread but I dont know anyone with multiples so here I am. We found out on Thursday that we have identical twins, I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and worried about thw bubs making it through. Praying so much at the moment that they will be ok. Other than that dh and I are in shock. We have 5 children and we were not expecting this miracle but extremely excited to have them on the way.

What should I expect? Im completely unmotivated at the moment haha

    Thanks ladies
