I have to use Aptimal AR (anti reflux) and through this I pay $13 per tin instead of up to $30. Some of the other types are cheaper still.

Lol! I was the same! No stretch marks with my singleton and I was almost bragging, feeling super confident about having no stretch marks at 34 weeks and BAM right on 35 one then within a couple of days I have about 3 more!
And to top it off I'm now finding that any creams or oils are making my tummy super itchy!

I thought it might be useful to let you all know about a multiple birth club run by Nutricia (Aptimal & Karicare brand formula).
You have to complete an application form and send a letter from your dr confirming you have twins and that they are formula fed. By joining you can then order formula online and heavily discounted prices (I pay half price for the formula we use). A big saving when feeding two babies!
    Hi Blinky
Where did you get the application form?

Call the Nutricia Advisory Service on 1800 060 057, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
There is phone menu that will list the multiple birth club. They will email you a form to complete.
Alternatively if you join the AMBA (Australian multiple birth association) they can send you the form.
There is a cap on how much you can order per month so that the service is not taken advantage of by unscrupulous people but the quota is sufficient to feed a set of multiples. You do have to order a minimum but it equates to about 2 weeks worth for twins and for some areas they offer free delivery.

Hi Guys, 26+5 today and had a scan yesterday- all looked great but OB has called today to request a specialist scan early next week as she think my amniotic fluid is on the lower end of the scale for both babies.....wondering if anyone has any experience with low levels of amniotic fluid?

She said not to worry, she just wanted to follow this up early......but as you can imagine I am worrying!

    Cheers Ruby

Ruby, thinking of you. I've no experience of amniotic fluid. Remember your pregnancy and bubs are now what the docs call viable, of course the longer you can hold on the better. Try to focus on each day and moment at a time and distract. I'm sure your thoughts will be worrying. Do you have a midwife who can explain or reassure? Some docs don't deliver information in a helpful or sensitive way, especially when you're in a state of shock and can't think. Next week can't come fast enough for you.

Hey Ruby. Great that your OB is onto it. I remember fluid was one of the things i always asked the sonographer and ob about every visit. Better they check it and watch than have an almighty panic later. Sounds like you're in good hands! Drink water like it's your job!

My twins are 4 weeks today. Oh my. ...this twin business is not for the faint hearted. Does anyone know any sleep/routine threads for twin mummas? Surely my 2 are old enough to get their **** together by now? !😂😂😂

Thanks guys- have been doing some reading and keeping fluids up seems to be paramount......feeling a little bit like a water fountain at the moment, drinking and peeing so much! Hopefully that is the cure though and there's nothing else sinister lurking!

Sonographer was happy with everything, so was a little surprised to get the call from my OB......glad she's onto it though.

Hope all are doing well xo

Sorry @Ruby16 I've not heard much about low amnio fluid but sounds like you are doing the right things and being watched well. @MusicalGal 4 weeks already wow! I've have read/heard I can't remember where that you can't get a routine happening until around 6 weeks. I bought the book 'save our sleep' and am planning on following that religiously to get ours into a routine asap.
Ugh, somebody is kicking me in the cervix right now and it is a grossssss feeling.
