There is no doubt it's tiring carrying this around... I'm over it definitely. That last photo @MusicalGal posted is burnt into my brain - and I'm not looking forward to it...

Girls i was the same. ...i was so uncomfortable, not sleeping, couldn't do everyday tasks, had to sit down while preparing in the kitchen, couldn't bend over. My savior was getting PE 3 weeks before the birth. It made me just stop, and i rested. I got my dad to take ds places and dh did most of the cooking. I even had to sit down in the shower. I wasn't on bed rest but i wasn't interested in going out or walking. Just when i thought i couldn't get any bigger, i did 😩 stretch marks hit ands i didn't think i could make another week. I was so glad the docs decided to take them at 37 weeks. I honestly was so disinterested in anything. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to move again. It's all worth it in the end. Keep your eye on the prize. This is very temporary.

    Default Twins due in 2016

    Hi ladies
I haven't posted in ages but I have been following along.
I've just hit 35 weeks and OMG it's been a long 35 weeks! We're aiming for 37.5 weeks but my OB has given me an optional date for 36.5 weeks if I don't think I can go any further.

I'm basically on bed rest but I can't do much anyway. I've had Graves, anemia, I'm on insulin for GT (lol! Now I'm having an allergic reaction to the injections!) And now my thyroid is going the other way and I'm on Meds to try and pump it back up.

Both babies are little acrobats and are constantly moving - I could seriously give Sigourney weaver a run for her money at the moment!

So much different to my singleton pregnancy!

Musicalgal, like you all I want to do is be able to move again, sleep/stand/walk/bend over/ breathe - lol! I'm dreaming of the day I can just get a trolley and walk up and down every isle of the supermarket! How sad is that?!

But, I'm counting the days now, I just can't wait to meet these little people!

Jemellabeth, sounds like you've had a rough time of it. The last little stretch now, a day at at time. How's your diet with the anemia and diabetes.
I'm just trying to control my blood sugers with diet. , my meals are so boring, low gi. Made worse by my aversion to preparing meals with raw meats to cook.

@MusicalGal - sitting in the shower ?!?! Really ??? Oh my gawd. What did you do to try to prevent stretch marks in the end? I kind of thought if I was going to have them, I would by now... But sounds like I'm kidding myself. You must have felt light as a feather leaving hospital. How big were your bubs again?

Jamellabeth i sooooo know what u mean about Sigourney weaver. I used to joke that they would probably bust out before the doctor pulled them out! Sounds like you might end up going at 36+5. You've done so well to keep going this long. Count the days girlfriend you're nearly there. You won't regret the hard work of keeping them in as long as possible xx

Juliemalolley...yep i had to get a little stool for the shower cos i usually shower DS and i couldn't bend or stand long enough to do him too! Once i got past the indignity of it all it was really good. Lol. Same with the kitchen stool. πŸ˜‚ yeah the stretch marks appeared in the last month. I was devo because i never had any with ds and I'd gone so far with the twins. I'd been using palmers stretch mark cream occasionally, but when the marks appeared it didn't make a difference. I got some bio oil. They're not as prominent now the babies are out. Maybe they'll fade cos they haven't been there for long. ...hoping. my bubs were 2.7kg and 2.4kg. They were both pretty much on one side of my belly though and that's where the stretch marks appeared. If your bubs are even u might escape it!

    Hi Julie
Yes apparently as soon as the bubs are delivered I stop the insulin and thyroid Meds and should be back to 'normal' lol within 24-48 hours I can't wait!!!!
Re stretch marks, I had none with DS and I gained just over 20kgs, this time I had none up until about a week ago when I suddenly had 1 longish one pop up, but it really pale, and I noticed a couple of small ones this morning! But they are quite low near my bikini line. Funny thing is I think I could probably have pointed out where I'd get them because it's the heaviest part of my tummy and most painful.
I also think the bubs have had a big growth spurt over the last few weeks which has put more pressure on parts of my tum!
I've been using bio-oil and palmers
