Great looking bump Julie and in good shape, no swelling.
Mrschino, is great when you start to feel real movement, reassuring and exciting. Wait till you start to see the kicks and movement, so weird. Mine have an active hour each evening. Mrs chino what is a VB? Vaginal birth? Maybe your babes will dictate, mine are both breach. I asked for c section, obs said ye would want one if he were in my shoes, this was before they both were breach.
I'm 30 weeks today, can't see how to attach my bump photo though. My glucose test came back borderline, so have a week of monitoring blood sugers, no chocolates.

I WISH there was no swelling. My legs have become tree trunks and I've just spent 10 minutes grunting and sweating while trying to get pressure stockings on them !

Oh no Julie, can't be easy getting the stockings on with baby bump. Put your feet up. Any tips for sleeping?

My sleeping has been a nightmare. I had on of those wedge cushions that are shaped almost like an armchair back - little arms out the side - and could NOT make myself comfy on that. I now have a wedge made up of 5 normal pillows and can get semi comfortable now at an angle of maybe 30-40 degrees.
I can't lay in any position other than on my back but I don't think its such an issue with twins as they are not dead centre so not pressing on the same arteries as one would be (my theory anyway). I certainly haven't had any numbness or tingling. I told my GP that I was waking myself up dozens of times with all the grunting and snoring and she told me at that point to GET RID of the wedge pillow as I was not getting enough oxygen and it was bad for bubs (obviously). Since then I've been much better on the pillow pile.
I absolutely cannot wait to be able to sleep in a normal, comfortable position and to be able to cuddle my DP properly again. I miss that a lot.
Other tip - drink less before bedtime as it's hard to get re-comfortable after getting up in the middle of the night (over and over and over again!)

    Default Twins due in 2016

    Hi

I was hoping to join this very useful group as I am currently expecting fraternal twins. Approximately five weeks and both measuring 5mm. Still early days but my HCG and progesterone levels are all high and continually rising as they should.

Back for another scan at 7 weeks to see if there are two heart beats.

We are absolutely thrilled since I have fertility issues, we just hope they both stick.

@JulieMalooley - you look amazing! Fab bump and very healthy weights for both your babes.

Sorry to hear sleeping for you isn't great, but your babes will be here before you know it, and then you'll hopefully be able to get comfortable again, if not sleep loads, with two mouths to feed.

    Continue to be well.
    Xoxo

Mrs Chino, don't stress about C Section v VB decision as the OB will tell you which is best for babies and the decision will be made. I found that the idea of having a choice was an illusion as when it came to the pointy end of the pregnancy I was only ever going to do what was safest for the babies and that ended up being a C Section. Having said that, I think everyone should research and be prepared for either so that you know what is going on whichever way it goes. I know a girl who recently was booked in for CS on advice of OB and the day before she went into labour and she progressed so quickly the OB ended up delivering the twins naturally, so you never really know it appears ! Good Luck

Welcome @baby245 and huge congratulations ! When we battle to get UTD to start with it is so much more exciting (but maybe I'm just biased lol)

Thank-you! Yes it was very unexpected as we were due to start IVF next cycle.
    Fingers crossed they both stick.
