We are in Australia and I am booked in for induction tonight.
Start with the gel overnight and then get thingsngoijg properly tomorrow.
I am 37 weeks with a fundal height of 48 and both babies are head down, so they are happy to induce!

    Miss Macy

My OB said 38w was considered FT for twins so that was what he always booked C Sections for unless there was a reason for earlier and as issues arose he could move the date earlier. I know there are a lot of OB's that do C-S at 37w instead - seems to be OB preference.

Re sleeping on your left side ... yes..... apparently that takes the pressure off your internal organs and especially allows kidneys to work at the optimum overnight (not sure why....). After left-side-sleeping through my pregnancy - it is now my preferred way of sleeping !

FRAH10 - Big Fingers Crossed that all goes beautifully smoothly and looking forward to hearing about your new little one.

    Hey everyone!
Thought id finally join in here. Im 13+6 with twins due in September! Di/Di twins, unsure on gender at this stage. We have no twins in the family so was a complete shock when we found out at 6 weeks but now starting to get excited!!

Welcome Cookie and congratulations on the twin pregnancy. It is good when the shock finally subsides and the pleasure and anticipation comes. Having 9w twins myself I can say it is well worth it.

Congrats RAH! You'd be doing it by now. No doubt up to your neck in feeding and dealing with everything. Go mumma!

Welcome Cookie. The ladies here are lovely and insightful!

Well I've just got out of 3days in hospital. Diagnosis Preclampsia. Both bubs are very happy and growing fine so they've agreed i can go home with bp checks, daily phone ins and hospital visits every 2 days. They want them to cook as long as possible. 34 +2 weeks atm. My c sec is booked for 14 April if i make it that far! I always had a feeling it'd happen at 36 weeks. So maybe I'll limp thru the next week or so.

On bed rest at home. Not as much fun as it sounds 😯 especially with an active 2yo Ds!

Musicgal, you've done so well to make it this far. Hope that BP stays put and you have some support with your son.
