@Krysta74 I tested out the hcg in my Pregnyl boosters on my last cycle. I POAS at 7am and 7pm for about a week. The 7pm second lines were twice the darkness of the traditional 7am FMU ones. I'm one of the girls where my evening hcg is way stronger. Good luck testing later today. As the other girls have said hold off from liquids for as long as you can beforehand.

Thanks Tahli. I'll do my best to dehydrate myself as much as possible, lol.

    A question for everyone:

Let's say tomorrow I go for my BT (which I will be doing, of course.) If, by chance, I was pregnant two days ago and was not pregnant now, would the BT still not come up as Positive due to lingering hormones?

How will I know it's real? A follow up would be due at some point? How often do they retest to see you're still going?

Yes, dehydrate yourself as much as possible. Just in time for the warmest afternoon in at least 6 months! And cross those legs & do a jiggly dance for an extra few hours just to warm yourself up further!! @BlondeinBrisvegas will answer those beta level questions beautifully I'm sure!

@Krysta74 Yes Luv..your BT will still show there's HCG in your system. It's the nemerical level of that HCG which they'll be looking at to define whether it's a BFP or not.

I'd expect at 16dpo where you'll be for a level well over 100...preferably 150 minimally though it could be anywhere up & over the 300 mark by then as well.

Usually repeat bloods to check the doubling times are done 2-3 days apart though some Clinics will only do them a week later.

If that's the case, a lot of us will go to our GP's on the side & have them done to check for ourselves in the meantime.

I have everything crossed for you. To me, the control lines look a little lighter on the day 10's. I used 2 different packs this cycle, bought from different shops, and they were definitely different. Both lines in my second pack were thinner & a therefore a little lighter. And I know you're meant to test with FMU, but my afternoon wee always tests stronger, I think because I'm on the toilet 3 times a night. Good luck for your test tomorrow ❤️❤️

Thank you everyone. I'm so lucky to have your support. As my family are not aware of our IVF journey BH has been such a warm placed to come to for comfort and advice.

As a newbie I'm sure my paranoia and stupid questions must test your patience, but I truly do appreciate every single one of you for giving up your valuable time and compassion when I have needed it most.
