3hrs is quick for an intralipids infusion! My dr does it over about 7-8hrs!

He does 1.5ltrs saline over a cpl of hrs, then 500ml intralipids infused over 5hrs then followed up by more saline to flush it through your system for another 30mins-1hr!

They will put a Canula in your hand and hook you up to an iv drip.

Yuk, that sounds like a day in hospital ? How much does it cost roughly and how often do you need it ?

It's cheap in cpt about $150 from what I heard...expensive here. A lot of girls just get it done in cpt and don't follow up once back ...

You're meant to have a few more infusions once you get your BFP. @Chiefsgirl might know when though I'm sure I've got it written down somewhere as Wazza was talking about giving it to me (again as a preventative) on my last Cycle but it never happened.

My dr charges $650 for it, plus it's done at hospital, I gave no excess for day stays so that's all I pay.

I had an infusion 14 days before transfer, it shd be 7-14 days before so I just got in! Then I had one on bfp.

I will then have bt's every 4-6 weeks to check my immune/nk levels and will have more infusions if need be.

I had a bt the day after I got my first hcg result and it looks like my nk cells had flared, I had the infusion the next day and have had a bt today so will find out on Monday if the infusion has helped🙏

Thanks Chiefsgirl. The information brochure they sent me says 4-7 days before FET and then again at 4-5 weeks but I won't be getting it done in CT so I'll see how my FS wants to go about it. Hopefully he doesn't um and ahh too much.
