    The nurse from my clinic actually commented on how fast they were. She joked that they'd have to send all their patients there (mind you its a 2 hour drive lol)

    Welcome @Green lady. I did PGD with MIVF and we had biopsy done on day 5 and results back on day 6. We only had 2 embies available for testing after doing a fresh round and adding in 2 frozen from 3 years ago. Surprisingly the 3 year old embie was normal and we now have an 8 month old baby.

    @midnite01 of all my pregnancy HCG results this pregnancy was my lowest... not even 200 at 16dpo. Yet we have a baby

    @Charlie74 how come the results take so long? I did standard PGD testing and had results on day 6, are you doing more then the standard testing???

    Big yayyyy to the pregnant ladies.

    xxx

    Thanks@SpotTheOcelot. Like @Charlie74 my results took 4 weeks ( was supposed to be 3). I think my testing was called array testing where they look at all chromosomes and cells have to be sent from Brisbane to Melbourne to do the testing. If there was a test with a shorter timeframe I'd do it but I wasn't offered any other one when I did the PGD counselling session.

    @Charlie74 you are SOOOOOO lucky !!! woot woot !
    Question ladies.... Is the blood test result for ANA the same thing as natural killer cells ? Or what is the actual blood test that indicates when you have NK cells?

    @Charlie74 that is such great news!
    @leyshoja natural Klee cells and Ana are different. Ana makes your body go into an immune reaction. Dr m explained it like when you cut yourself and the wound goes all red, that's your body fighting off any infection. When you have raised Ana your body sees the embryo like that cut and tries to fight it off.

    Natural killer cells are cells that everyone has to ward off diseases. They can be found in the blood and in the uterus. In ladies with issues with nk cells, after ovulation ours become overactive and go on the rampage killing anything that isn't self, ie the embryo.

    You need to have a separate bt for nk cells and it's a biopsy after day 21 for the uterus ones.

    @Charlie74 Whoo-Hoo!!! Fantastic Luv!!😊

    @leyshoja NK Cells are totally different BT though it's my understanding that better accuracy is obtained by having an endo biopsy & sending the tissue sample away to be tested
