I don't think taking the Pred for a couple of weeks longer is going to harm anything as it's being used to supress your immune system which given your circumstances would be to your benefit I would've thought??

How are you going to know from your BT results if it was the Pred or fish oil tabs that gets your levels down (assuming they do)?????
Well, the Dr in Cape Town says the prednisolone suppresses the production of antibodies and the intralipids are used to mop up any existing ones. If the prednisolone was enough to get them under control on its own I guess they wouldn't be suggesting the intralipids ?

The immune protocol with the Pred is normally used in combination with the Intrallipids Luv to cover all bases I guess and then prevent a flare up when Preggo so bub(s) stay put in there

Yes, that's right, 1 next Fri Am in the middle of sorting out her birthday get together which will be on that weekend down at our local park where we're going to have a BBQ with family/few friends to celebrate

I think ur plan sounds great. And u sound relieved. Am relieved for you too ; )
@Charlie74 I am taking 4 x 1000mg Ethical Nutrients High Strength fish oil per day plus 10ml of fish oil from a bottle. I looked at every single brand and type on the weekend and most of them are falsely advertising. A lot of the 'high strength' ones are not actually stronger, just bigger. So a 50% capsule of course has 50% more liquid in it so in actual fact you are better off buying the smaller much cheaper ones and just having more of them.
Anyway, its the EPA and DHA levels per ml that I was looking for and the Ethical Nutrients was one of the best, and the chemist said that was the best quality one they would recommend to me. It was also one of the dearest at about $30 when I know you can get bulk cheapies for around $10. So... I compromised and got those ones and supplemented the volume with the liquid which probably isn't as good a quality, but its a huge dose. (note they say it has lemon/lime oil for flavour, but I CAN'T taste that, its not lovely to take.)
When I spoke to my FS yesterday he said it was 'too much' fish oil but agreed that the blood test in two weeks should be interesting.
There are no adverse effects from fish oil and I already know my blood has been thinner the last few years I've been taking it, so more than doubling my dose should work wonders. I know it takes a few weeks for the results to set in though so get onto it asap. Hey, if nothing else, at least we won't die of heartattack or stroke !

@leyshoja so glad you have a plan in place, sounded like you were going to go bonkers there for a bit it all gets too much at times.

Speaking of which, I lost my shizzazle a bit last night. Mainly due to house moving issues but preceded by 18 months of IVF hell doesn't help! I tend to get a bit shouty, nearly had fisticuffs with my partner over folding some washing (I was doing it wrong ).

    Bring on the September BFPs!

So, home sick with a nasty viral infection, no sleep last night, feeling miserable. Picked up some FRERs at the pharmacy with some medication to help (on Drs advice), and I think I have a second line ladies 😊
