Bongley, I did PGD through Melbourne IVF (in Melb), we had day 5's tested and the results back from the Queensland clinic on day 6 an hour before my afternoon transfer.
The technician and my FS read over the report and gave me the details on the 2 that were biopsided that one had a Trisomy so was discarded (they also cross referenced which batch that was from) and then confirmed our little frozen embie from when I was 40 yrs old was normal.
They were not allowed to advise of gender and I was told that at that point they could not access that part of the report until requested at a later date. I requested this info at 8 weeks once we had 2 scans to confirm pregnancy.
No, no other names other than bob and bobette for the two transferred.
On a nice note my bil just texted that he is in town for work so dh and I will be going out to dinner tonight to catch up! We saw him a month or so before we went to Hawaii and they know where we are up to, so it will be lovely to catch up.
Only thing is, it's COLD and I'm tired and just wanna go to bed!
@Chiefsgirl can I ask why Hawaii was so expensive? Was it clinic costs or country costs? I need my plan in place if the next FET fails and maybe it's an option if I can do it cheaper than what I thought you spent?
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
