Is it possible to take too much vitamin D. I've just bought a liquid fish oil which has vit D, calcium, magnesium tabs which include vit D and I was taking vitamin d on its own... .? I guess I just drop the plain vitamin d tabs?

I'm deficient and take a total of 3500iui daily so 3× the daily dose...I don't think it does anything to be too high in vit d

Great thanks @emski72. I wonder about the fish oil too. I'll be taking a total of 3500 EPA and 2400 DHA daily. That's the highest dose recommended on the capsules for joint relief plus about the same again in liquid form. If that doesn't sort out my anti inflammation issues I'll be a fishes uncle.

Most people are actually deficient in vitamin D & that can play a big part in not getting pregnant. When I started seeing my Natropath he said he would like to see my levels between 100-120 (they can be as high as 150 safely), as when we tested they were just under 70. I took 3 x 1000mg for months to get my level up, and it still only just got over the 100. Now I take 2 one day, 3 the next to maintain that level. I also use the BioMedica brand as its one of the only ones not be be based in a soy oil, which he didn't want me taking while doing ivf as it contains phytoestrogens and he didn't want it interfering with the balance of oestrogen/progesterone on my cycles.
