Default Adults who love to colour

I'm subbing! I've just ordered a colouring book from book.depository and bought myself a set of pencils.
Now I can't wait for my book to arrive now!

I love all things art and used to paint and draw a lot since I was a teenager. Once I had DS I've become time-poor and just lazy. I feel this is a good way to re-introduce creativity back into my life.

Excuse the dodgy picture quality. This is one I'm working on right now, really enjoying it can't stop doing it but really am tired and the light is not good at night for it. Just can't stop though I might be a bit addicted!

I'm going to buy my first adult colouring book tomorrow.

I loved my Derwent pencils as a child, does anyone know where to buy them?

What are the gel pens like for colouring? Are they better for small patterns or do they look ok colouring large spaces too?1439698298946.jpg1439698309574.jpg1439698319892.jpg1439698330956.jpg

I finished. This was the half done one I posted initially. The colours are quite psychedelic. I only had 24 to work with so went for contrast rather than different shades. I bought a few more individual colours this morning as well as a pack of 36 Derwent pencils. 😊
