I was thinking of getting Derwent why are people deciding they don't like them?

I also love the look of the chameleons

Here's tonight's quick effort. I, on the other hand, LOVE my derwents :-)

It's not that I don't like them. But they don't seem that soft. Or bright. But I just have the original ones. Not the fancy inktense or watercolour ones.

Mine are the studio ones. I like them but I love the Lyra ones. Will be buying more I think next time I go to Officeworks. At $1.88 ea I can afford a couple at a time and I can choose the colours I want.

I have some regular derwents and I don't love them. Keen to try some different pencils.

I have a set of watercolor Derwents, getting old and all used up though. I actually really like my cheap Faber Castels, wish there was more variety in different colours. Also love the look of Chameleon pens too but the price is off putting and also looks like it takes the fun out of shading yourself.
