Default Adults who love to colour

I have a confession. I am an addict. A slave to the pencil. I have recently discovered the world of colouring for adults and I am in rainbow heaven =)
So, I thought I'd start this thread for like minded people who want to share pictures, chat all things colouring and enable, enable enable!
I'm only just starting out, thanks to a lovely hubber friend who sent me my first (and most loved) colouring book and my very first pack of Faber Castells!
Here are a few of my babies...

Your colouring background is black?! I LOVE that!

I haven't dragged my colouring out in a while as our lounge room lights were broken so I was giving myself headaches trying to do it when I couldn't see properly. Then I decided I wanted to get some nice pencils instead of the gel pens I was using, and I keep forgetting. When I start tho I get hooked so will get back into it soon.

Very impressed by your work it's oh so lovely

@Degrassi you'd love it. It's not only fun, but also a fantastic stress reliever. It's being touted as a kind of therapy, with book titles like "Colour Me Calm"!
@shani2 the black pages are incredible. You have to try it, most of these are from a book called " Decorative Designs".

I am colouring too. Problem is I can't do it when dd is awake because she wants to help. I got her her own book but she doesn't share pencils well. Also, I realized that I need r to wear my glasses to colour.

I just bought a book and some Derwent pencils yesterday. I've been meaning to get back into it for a while - it is so relaxing. As another PP said, I'm not sure how I'll go with DS around though

I love the black background. They look great.

Oh I just got myself a book! ! I used to print free ones from the Internet.
    This thread is exciting.
I love this black background. Was the book like that?
I'm thinking of getting a set of nice pencils.
    What do you all suggest?

OMG! I LOVE that book! I wants it.

I've just started. Bought the Better Homes and Garden book that's out as it was the nicest of the books they had here, and while I want the Secret Garden and Water one, they are a bit $$ if I don't stick to it.

I second the pencils. What's everyone using? I got some cheapies, but some don't seem to want to colour. Hard to use and pale, but not sure if it's the paper? The other pack is fine, but it's a different brand.

    Lovely work!
The black background would be very forgiving of any little slip-ups, too.
