I think many times people are up front. - the implied intent of your thread was in my mind: spinoff from closed thread, here is some research to back up what I was saying in the old thread, therefore I would like everyone to remember that last thread and where I sit on this topic so please don't argue this post, I'm trying to start a new supportive thread given the other one was closed, so please let's keep this supportive. That was all implied, but you didn't state any of that.

So I think it's important for everyone to not expect others to know the implied meaning, be transparent and state it so there's NO room for interpretation. Then if someone goes against the OPs wishes they can't play dumb - but the reason for the thread and any 'rules' you want to be set should be done in the OP in case people reply only to that and don't read other replies before posting.
But you've just proved my point, that to many regular hubbers, my intent was implied and understood and I'll go out on a limb and assume you and VP knew that but love a debate too much. I'm not annoyed you don't agree with me, I knew posting it that you and VP would probably take issue with it or be *tempted* to start a debate. BUT, I also tend to not be a cynical person and usually hope that maybe continuing a supportive vibe in a thread rather than constantly wanting to debate or overanalyse a topic will prevail.

Pot meet kettle. I'm not blind - the thread was specifically designed to carry on an argument from a previous thread while sticking it to me. Maybe is have done what Harvs suggested and reported it. But I'm not a dobber and I thought I could respectfully contribute to the discussion.

And how on earth do you expect me to let things to when you and the clique of supporters continue to ask me questions and quote me.

What are we 5 years old? I've tried to be nice and see if from your side. I've extended the olive branch to you time and time again both in that thread and since. But you just slap it back.

Let's agree we will never resolve this and leave everyone else out of this.

You were quite cool in Holly's thread and I noticed and appreciated that.

I don't think this will work.

Would be lovely but i seriously doubt anyone would benefit from these threads as they go around in circles and go nowhere.

But still you leap down my throat? Maybe because i've been a lawyer for more than 20 years I've learned when to let a point go.

Can we just leave it to the mods and shut this thread again. I'm too old for this and quite frankly it's what a do for a living not for my entertainment.

Default Not every child will sleep

I really hate that emicon. Say what you mean and mean what you say. I wish they'd never been invented.

    Lazy arguing.

You're the one who keeps raising it.
