Honestly ladies, intention is often interpreted by the reader, not implied by the poster. Go back and read the responses before you jumped in to start a debate, not once does anyone say that people who sleep train are bad or wrong, we all just share our stories of non-sleepers, why we think it's ok and that sleep trainers (i.e. 'experts') cause US anxiety, not you. US.

VP, I get that the 'stay out of the thread' comment made you think a fight was a brewing, but Sonja explained herself after your first post and you kept going. This is not about being blinded or being in a clique. This is about some just enjoying that there was a thread to embrace your non-sleeper rather than trying to fix it, the intention was repeated several times throughout the thread.

Sorry Holy if you think that was the only original intention of this thread, and that there was no element of the OP being cranky and wanting to use it as an opportunity to publicly 'stick it' to me then I think you have blinkers on.

I totally think she was p!ssed off about your constant using of a false stat and insistence on the belief that all children can be sleep trained. I'm not blind. But she was p!ssed off because she knows how many new moms take those types of comments to heart thinking they must being doing something wrong so she started a thread for the moms doubting themselves to go. The double standards of hub behaviour right now is hilarious.

    Let's face it vp.
No matter how many times parents tell you they don't want your advice, you still disrespect them with you passive aggressive post well if you do PM me and we will brain storm ideas.
While that offer is great if someone wants help but someone has already said they don't want it because their kids are normal. It comes across as a passive aggressive dig at them.
