My OPKs came in the mail today so of course I had to instantly use one and much to my surprise it appears to be positive? I honestly thought I had O'd last Friday, the day before hubby and I decided to start TTC#3. I will take another one about 2pm to compare. I'm on CD25 and have had light cramping which I assumed was AF on her way but perhaps it's an impending O?

I'm at 2DPO. When are you going to test? 5 days before your period is due?

5dpo here not sure what to think. Exhausted but that's usual being a night shift worker and only sleeping 4-5 hrs a day. Have had q crampy tummy last few days but too early to be a symptom, nipple sore but only cause dd has been biting again not sure if milk tastes different this week. We got only 1 session of bd in so see how we go it was day of o. Dd was only a once off bd too but that was days before o. Glad don't work weekends so if test on weekend or monday won't go to work disappointed

Just got DH's SA results and it's not looking good... Low motility count. So off to the fertility specialist we go... Only prob is I'm less than a wk out from O so looks like we won't be able to try anything until October now 😔

Hopefully you have a surprise during September! Or that the specialist gives you quick results!

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how long did you wait before you tested DH? And does the man usually get tested first?

We've really only been trying a few cycles but was just wondering.

Sorry to hear that, MusicalMumma. Do you mean you can't try anything the specialist might suggest, or that you can't try BD at all? Have you been consulting Dr Google? I'm sure there are plenty of suggestions online while you wait for your appointment, if you are still going to try this month. I'm at 4DPO today and nothing much to report, apart from some pretty extreme dizziness last night after drinking half a beer. That was weird. But I've been sick with a cold for the last 14 years so it's probably just related to that. And my almost 3 yr old is being incredibly clingy and wanting "boobies" all day, but that's probably because I've been super exhausted and doing a lot of sitting on the couch so I'm an easy target and she's probably quite bored too. (Exhaustion is most likely because my body is sick to death of being sick). I wish I didn't have this stinking cold so I could get a better idea of possible symptoms, everything so far can be explained away by that. I should post this as a proper poll but tying to do that on the iPad would probably cause it to get hurled out of the window, typing a simple reply is painful enough...SO - Do you believe it's possible to have any pregnancy symptoms before 6DPO? Before 5 weeks? (Assuming we all use the system where you're already 2 weeks at O day (so would be 21DPO at 5 weeks for a 28 day cycle). I was reading something yesterday about Early Pregnancy Factor that was interesting, it suggested that you can actually detect pregnancy in something crazy like 6 hours after fertilisation. (I think it's used to detect pregnancy in sows mostly but has potential for use as a super early pregnancy test in humans). I don't believe the idea that "your body doesn't even know you're pregnant" or that because you're not technically pregnant until implantation you wouldn't have symptoms, that's just semantics, and I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that's true. Anyway, what do you all think?
