I've found a post that has 2 x Meridians (one rearfacing in the middle) and a Compaq in a 2014 Outlander. If that fits then I would say a MaxiGuard(for 5yr old) and 2 compaqs should fit easily. Not sure about a capsule though.

The captiva 7 is surprisingly small across middle row and placement of the middle buckle is stupid. I bought an extender and have managed to fit hiliner in middle, compaq in ff behind driver and a safety1st capsule behind passenger. Once I bought this car and needed more carseats etc Ive only bought slimline carseats.

I really appreciate you asking for me. Thanks :-)

I think the only way to be sure a capsule and two seats will fit is to ask the dealer if I can take the car to Baby Bunting and try the seats in it. If they say no, then I won't buy it. Just in case.

Wish I could afford this because everyone has said Territory is widest. But the used ones in our price range all seem to have high kms and big 6cy 4lt engines, I'm conscious of fuel efficiency. So unfortunately can't do that

    Interesting, thanks.

I'm going to call and ask how much to add anchor points to the third row of this kind of car tomorrow because that would give more space, and the installation fee may be similar to me buying new seats for my older two!!!

I'm not sure what the outlander is like cost wise sorry in comparison. We are getting a 2.7 L diesel as it's more fuel efficient. They started bringing out diesel in the last couple of years I think

In case anyone else is interested, I took the car to Baby Bunting today and successfully fit 3 seats in the back. So it can be done.
However someone put a deposit on it before we got a chance to discuss and decide. So not getting one at the moment! Back to the search
