I had plans to wait until 14dpo, but caved on the evening of 13dpo. I had tested at 7dpo as I had had 2 days of terrible reflux, but it was -ve.

I had a small implant bleed at 10dpo.

Using FRER, I got a "was that something??" line at 9dpo which appeared after about a minute, then disappeared after a couple of minutes. The next morning, 10dpo, I got a very faint BFP.. which didn't fade away.

This was IVF, so my dates were exact. I wouldn't bother testing before 9dpo, and even then only with FRER. It is quite rare to get a BFP before 9dpo. Implantation generally doesn't occur until 7/8dpo, and then it takes a day or two for the hcg to get high enough for an HPT to detect.

8 dpo with my DD but it was so very faint that I didn't say anything to DH. Retested at 11 dpo and was a definite positive.

Tested at 8 dpo with DS and got a negative. Retested at 10 dpo and was a definite positive.

    All tests were ICs

I got a shadowy looking line at 12 dpo that you could squint at in lots of light and see something there. By 14dpo it was a line and got darker every day!
