Default Please point me in the right direction

Hello lovely mummies. Hope you are all well. I am hoping a moderator can help me. A lovely girlfriend of mine is roughly 15 weeks pregnant and had an amnio test today for a chromosome disorder. Could some one please put me in the right direction for an active and current forum on this topic please. I am trying to help her be able to talk to some one who is going through a similar thing. I would really appreciate it.
    Kind regards.
    Sam

You could also go down to the "Pregnancy tests and help/support with results" heading that's part of the "pregnancy and birth" subforum and post this question there as well.

I had a CVS at 12 wks last year so am happy to help in any way if needed.

Hope your friends results come back with no chromosomal abnormalities found.

Hi there, I had a high risk result for Downs and had the Harmony test done and have a healthy 5 month old. It was very stressful at the time, happy to chat and answer questions. I had a low PAPP-A score which let to a few placental issues

I'm not that much help except I am also going through it at the moment. I will be having an amnio in the next couple of weeks after my first trimester screening gave me a 1:50 risk for triosomy 21 (Down's syndrome)

I hope she is ok, I have found it incredibly stressful so far.

Thankyou so much ladies. I am 9 weeks and as I have had two healthy babies previously, I can not really understand what she is going through personally. I am trying to be positive and she is so strong and positive. I hope for her sake, she has the perfect baby she has longed for.. I really appreciate it.
