    Help! I made a pot of chicken noodle soup yesterday, and it's missing something. Just doesn't have any zing and is a bit bland. Any ideas what I can add? This is the recipe I used.

    I think it's light on veg. 1 1/2 cups of carrot doesn't seem much, but I can't think what to add to make it better.

    I'm a terrible cook but I would add peas and diced potato

    ETA I misunderstood you and thought you were asking what other veggies you could add

    What about a few dashes of soy sauce?
