Thanks all, your replies are so nice to read. DD is coping pretty well, she HATES it when they have to flush her canulars and the blood test we did this evening was horrible (they couldn't get blood from the bungs in her hand unfortunately). I cried for her when she was crying. The hardest part is seeing her in pain. It kills me.
DP has been a tower of strength through all of this and is a truly amazing partner to me and step daddy to DD. This afternoon after the diagnosis he cried for the first time in years. He is extremely close to DD and more of a father to her than her own dad, so this is all very hard for him too. He is a beautiful man and I am so lucky to have him.
DD is having a procedure tomorrow. They're taking more bloods at 6am then later getting bone marrow and I think doing a lumbar puncture. My poor baby
